Olivia's work reflects the impression of nature’s colors, shapes, and textures. She draws inspiration from her travels and the in-between moments of life. Her visual impairment and experience with mental health struggles have not only impacted her view of the world literally but also more abstractly, in the way she approaches her art. She uses earth pigments and both oil and acrylic paints in large formats, mostly on raw canvas.

Olivia is an interdisciplinary writer. Her prose stretches across picture books, poetry, and screenwriting through a lens of a realistic human-like experience.

Her background in performing arts has shaped her to view art as an all-encompassing way of life.

She mainly paints in her Studio in Minneapolis, MN, and is often visited by her Bernese Mountain Dog, Rio, and 21-pound cat, Jun. She has become a pro at wiping paint off of paws.
